Wadi Shab: Located in Tiwi, part of Sur in Al Sharqiyah South Governorate. Wadi Shab is easily accessible from Muscat, as it lies 140km from Muscat on the Qurayat, Sur Coastal Road.

One of the most famous valleys in Oman, Wadi Shab’s water is directly sourced from the highest mountains of Bani Jaber. This beautiful valley is the perfect combination of coastal nature and mountain formations that attracts tourists. The rock formations are different than those around the world since water and various erosion factors have carved wonderful artistic scenes in it. An adventure filled location, you can enjoy various activities such as boating, hiking, and swimming in the freshwater pools.

Wadi Al Arbaeen: Located around the outskirts of Muscat, wadi Al Arbaeen is home to two villages on either side of its banks. Wadi Al Arbaeen features a constant water-flow from the eastern Hajr Mountains. It is the ultimate soundtrack of nature, with the sound of running water, birds chirping and the wind blowing through narrow channels. The valley offers a number of activities such as swimming, a BBQ party, and hiking.

Grand Canyon/ Wadi Ghul: Located on the southern slopes of Jebel Shams, the tallest peak of the Hajr Mountains, the elements have carved a canyon so deep and magnificent that it’s called the Grand Canyon of Arabia, Wadi Ghul. It is basically an immense dried riverbed near Jebel Shams and the village of ghul gives the canyon its name. You can wander into its depths from the vertiginous Balcony Walk, a 6km round trip. Activities such as the Balcony Walk, a hike, and camping under the stars, are quite famous amongst tourists.
